Hi there,
I can speak mainly for the teams that work in an agile manner (according to SCRUM or KANBAN) at Allianz Germany currently. I guess this still varies a little from country to country and in which kind of setting you are working as an employee.
So for daily business of course we use email, but also the video chat tool WebEx and for chatting and quick (video) calls with few participants MS Teams. In special ocassions, we use sometimes also Collaboard e.g. for workshops.
And for "agile teams" in special we use Confluence and Jira for documentation and daily sprint work.
If platforms for you means as well "formats" of interaction, there is a huge variety of them such as dailies, reviews, retros, plannings, townhalls, department jour fixes, etc.
Hope this clears a little bit your mind around this question?
Have a nice day
Annemarie
