I started as an intern and ended up as Underwriting product designer.

Before joining Allianz, I had been working for almost 15 years in the insurance market in Argentina. I started as an intern in Operations, then I worked in Finance, Underwriting and finally in Product Design area. Then in 2018, I moved to Spain for a MBA study program, I was teleworking a year from Madrid, but finally we decided (me and my family) to stay in Spain. Once I finished my studies, I moved from Madrid to Barcelona where I got a new job at Allianz. My latest role is focused in the design and innovation in retail products within the new global business master platform to ensure our customers are getting the best possible products and services.

I design new products to improve retail offering.

My work is focused on designing new products from the underwriting perspective to improve the offer and adapt it to the new digital world. I also focus on the design and innovation of retail products within the new global business master platform to ensure our customers are getting the best possible products and services. We (me and my team) are rebuilding all the Spain retail products, which requires us to think towards the future. This means looking at market innovations and customer needs to improve our offering.

Participating in projects with colleagues from different areas.

I have the great chance to work with different teams all over the world, participating in projects with colleagues from different areas, from other countries, even colleagues from outside the company. Which gives me the opportunity to learn from very diverse backgrounds and culture. Last but not least, a big motivation is my team and the people in my area. Its the people that make the work fun and enjoyable every day.

Be persistent and always trust teamwork.

Try and keep trying, as I mentioned before, always believe in your conditions, be honest with yourself but not negative, and do not be afraid to change, each change is a new learning and opportunity. And always remember: teamwork is the best way.
