Dear Joshmin,

Thank you for reaching out and your question.

I would strongly recommend that you keep the following criteria in mind before an interview:

1. Be on time and dress to impress. But most importantly, be yourself!
2. Do some research on the company and try to check our social media to be aware of the current projects that the company is working on. This research should also give you an understanding of our company culture, which is of utmost importance.
3. Do some research on your recruiter - check their LinkedIn profile and maybe you will find a great ice breaker.
4. Do not be shy to ask questions. Curiosity is an important attribute that we look in candidates.
5. When you are called up for an interview, this indicates that there was a profile match and therefore, make sure to know the job requirements, key tasks well. And if you are not fully sure of some tasks, do ask during the interview.

These are some of the tips that I can share with you.

Thank you and wish you all the very best!
Best regards,
Nasir

Dear Joshmin,

Thank you for asking this question.

I would recommend going through the job description carefully - you will find the skillsets and mindset needed for the job. That would help you get an idea of what questions will be part of your interview.

I also encourage you to check our Glassdoor page - it features reviews of talents who already appeared in our interview process and shared many tips and tricks to get you started on the right foot.

Information is key so of course - gather as much information as possible from our website and social media channels to understand what's happening on the business front.

Wishing you good luck!
Sheetal

Dear Joshmin,

great to see you are interested in joining our family!
In addition to what my colleagues have added previously, I would like to note that it is also important to prepare yourself accordingly to the audience you are interviewing with. Usually there are several interview rounds and one of them happens with HR, one with hiring manager and potentially sometimes with the team members as well.
For HR interview, the focus is usually more on the background experience, lessons learned, mindset and cultural fit. When interviewing with the hiring manager, the focus is usually on the skill-set and job requirements, checking if your expertise matches the requirements. Of course, the cultural aspect & mindset are also very valuable here. Finally, with the team, next to the expertise part, usually it is important to get the sense of connection and team dynamics, and how well would you fit in it.

Hope that helps as well!
Best of luck!

Hi Joshmin,

Thanks so much for your question - and I just wanted to add a couple of things to the other excellent points made by my colleagues.

Make sure you read the job description before your interview - annotate it, be sure to know what role you are interviewing for. We are a big family at Allianz, so make sure you also properly research which part of Allianz you are interviewing for.

Finally during the interview don't be afraid to make notes!

Good luck!
