Dear Marta, first of all thank you for reaching out and showing interest in our organization!
Let me start by saying that defining work-life balance is something very personal and each individual may interpret the idea of what work-life balance means differently. To me it means, being in the driver-seat when it comes to balancing work-life and private-life. Allianz takes employee well-being very serious, which is why they grant us great flexibility when it comes to deciding whether or not to work from home or any other place (of course with Covid this decision has become obsolete as we were all asked to WFH), as well as giving us the flexibility to plan our work around personal obligations.
All in all, I am very happy with the way of working which Allianz stands for, and I am confident to say, that Allianz is at the forefront in terms of employee benefits which also contributes towards achieving a great work-life balance. To give you an example, employees can transform their annual bonus into time off, they can apply for extended time off in the form of a sabbatical, they can subscribe to free sports classes or just use the office gym, and Allianz also supports families with childcare & vacation subsidies. This is just an excerpt of all the amazing benefits we as employees are entitled to, which is being complemented (for non-executives) by a 38-hour week and meeting- & E-Mail free times.
I hope the above insights answered your question, please feel free to add to this thread any time in case you want to know more specifics!
Best regards,
Marco
